Navajo Nation Department of Workforce Development
The Navajo Nation Department of Workforce Development is the largest Native American grantee of the Workforce Investment Act and services the Navajo Nation. Their services include:

  • Native Employment Works (N.E.W.) Program – makes work activities and professional development readily available for residents of the Navajo Nation. This program includes education, professional training, job readiness workshops and employment support services. For eligibility requirements, please visit the N.E.W. Program webpage.
  • WIOA Youth Program (Supplemental Youth Services) – works with eligible individuals to address educational needs and employment training. Program includes assisting individuals who drop out of school in returning or obtaining their high school diploma/GED. For eligibility requirements, please visit the WIOA Youth Program webpage.
  • WIOA Adult Program (Comprehensive Services) – works to provide core/employment-related services including information on job vacancies, career options, financial aid for students, relevant employment trends, job searching, writing letters of interest and résumés, etc. For eligibility requirements, please visit the WIOA Adult Program webpage.

New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions
The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions (NMDWS) is committed to being a leader in and a facilitator of a competitive workforce. The organization is business-driven, understands the needs of employers with a focus on the employability of all New Mexicans, is an integral part of all economic development and education initiatives, and works to be efficient to diverse needs. New Mexico State Personnel Office
The New Mexico State Personnel Office (SPO) provides human resource leadership, direction, guidance and services to maximize state government’s ability to better serve citizens of New Mexico. USAJOBS
USAJOBS connects job seekers with federal employment opportunities across the United States and around the world. As the Federal Government’s official employment site, USAJOBS provides resources to help the right people find the right jobs. Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS)
Housed within the United States Department of Labor, VETS serves America’s veterans and separating service members by preparing them for meaningful careers, providing employment resources and expertise, and protecting their employment rights. Programs under VETS include American Job Centers, HIRE Vets Medallion Program, Homeless Veterans’ Reintegration Program, Jobs for Veteran State Grants, and more.
