Navajo Nation Office of Special Education & Rehabilitation Services
Funded by the United States Department of Education, this program assists people with disabilities in obtaining and maintaining employment. For more information, please contact their Crownpoint office, which is located in the Navajo Technical University Empowerment Center, at (505) 786-2259 or by emailing Albert Calamity at albert.calamity@nnosers.org.

New Mexico Division of Vocational Rehabilitation
Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) helps eligible individuals with documented disabilities find suitable employment. VR is a voluntary program, and services persons who want to work. DVR is committed to helping clients succeed and partners with companies and agencies hoping to diversify their workforce. To learn more about DVR, please contact Ela Yazzie-King, Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, at (505) 722-6045 or by emailing ela.yazzie-king@state.nm.us.

NTU Office of Disability Accommodation Services
The Disability Accommodations Specialist provides accommodation services to students with disabilities such as counseling support, professional guidance for staff and faculty, coordinating with NTU counselors to monitor progress of accommodation services, and conducts referrals to appropriate external agencies. Contact the Office of Disability Accommodation Services at (505) 786-4163, by emailing Virginia Edgewater at vedgewater@navajotech.edu, or by stopping in at the Student Union Building, office 228.
